Eyevistar® begins with marigold, a naturally abundant commercial source of lutein and zeaxanthin, and is manufactured by Star Hi Herbs Pvt. Ltd. in Jigani, Bengaluru, India. Every stage is designed around botanical identity, controlled processing, compositional consistency and product-specific scientific evaluation.

Botanical source
Eyevistar® is derived from marigold, botanically identified as Tagetes erecta L. Marigold flowers are a leading commercial source of lutein and zeaxanthin — the xanthophyll carotenoids that concentrate naturally in the macula.

Raw-material selection
Incoming material is selected for its suitability to produce a concentrated lutein and zeaxanthin ingredient, with controls confirming botanical identity, marigold flower source, carotenoid content, physical condition and compliance with the approved internal specification.

Controlled manufacturing
Eyevistar® is manufactured and registered by Star Hi Herbs Pvt. Ltd. at Jigani, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Direct manufacturing responsibility provides a clear point of accountability for composition, processing documentation and finished quality.

Standardization
Every batch is standardized to lutein 20% and zeaxanthin 4% — a defined combination that differentiates Eyevistar® from non-standardized marigold powders and variable commodity extracts.

Testing and characterization
Product-specific evaluation includes ARPE-19 cell testing, cell-viability assessment, A2E measurement, lipofuscin imaging, antioxidant biomarker analysis, histopathology, transmission electron microscopy and LC-MS/MS quantification of lutein and zeaxanthin.

Documented delivery
Commercial batches are released against the approved specification and supported by lot-specific documentation for customer qualification and regulatory review.
