The Star Hi Herbs R&D department and Eyevistar® manufacturing location are in Jigani, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This site supports the development and scientific evaluation of standardized botanical ingredients — from raw-material and finished-product testing to analytical and formulation laboratories.
Product-specific science, not generic claims
The scientific portfolio covers botanical extracts, plant-based vitamins and minerals, antioxidant activity, immune support, weight management, glucose metabolism, inflammation, hepatoprotection and cellular protection. Clinical-study programmes span eye health, joint health, weight management, anti-inflammatory support, premenstrual health, cognitive health and mental-stress support.
Eyevistar® reflects this model. Its programme includes in-vitro studies in ARPE-19 retinal pigment epithelial cells and an in-vivo high-fat-diet model, evaluating cell viability, oxidative stress, A2E and lipofuscin accumulation, antioxidant biomarkers, retinal lutein and zeaxanthin deposition, and retinal architecture.
